I live in the New Mexico desert, 30 miles from the Mexico border. That is about as far from the ocean as one can get in the US of A. The supply of seafood is limited, and most of it is frozen.
There are two grocery stores in this small town, and a few bigger ones in Las Cruces 60 miles away. There are many online suppliers who will ship overnight, but that adds considerable expense to already high seafood prices.
Nevertheless, I indulge occasionally. :-)
