CHORUS: If love never hurts, then why did Jesus cry? If love never hurts, then why did He have to die? He said: “Greater love has no man, Than to lay down his life for a friend.” You know, love covers a multitude of sins.	3. Love is as strong as death, Love your neighbor as yourself, Love the Lord your God, With all your heart, strength and might. Love your enemies, love one another, If you love Me, keep My commands, You know, love covers a multitude of sins. Chorus
1. Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious, Love thinks of others, love isn’t rude, doesn’t think of itself. Love thinks the best, rejoices in the truth, love doesn’t get angry, Bears, believes, hopes, endures all things: Love never fails. Chorus	4. If you love the world, My love is not in you, By this you know love: I laid down My life for you. Love not in word, but in deed and truth, Then your hearts will be clear, Because love covers a multitude of sins. Chorus
2. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, That whoever believes in Him shall never, never die. Neither death not life, nor any created thing, Can separate us from His love, Because love covers a multitude of sins. Chorus	5. Perfect love casts out fear, We love Him cause He loved us, If we love one another, God abides in us, Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for a friend, You know, love covers a multitude of sins.
