sweet pea soup


Oh man, this was sooo good. Very easy to make too. Sweet pea soup tastes very different than split pea soup, and it doesn’t give you nearly as much gas either. The sausage adds another flavor that will be typical for each different type of sausage. Compare with the Carrot Soup with Sweet Peas recipe.


This is what you need for 5 quarts / 10 servings:

  • 1 ½ lb frozen sweet peas
  • ½ lb frozen carrot mix
  • 2 Mexican (aka grey) zucchinis, sliced
  • sausage of preference
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed or chopped small
  • S&P
  • seasoning of preference
