lasagna with zucchinis


Three lasagna dishes with two sauces and some difficulties. This 'Great Value' lasagna was not good quality. It shredded during cooking, leaving me with only 7 complete strips out of 24. You can still lay out those strips, but it just isn't the same.

In my experience, two layers of pasta are enough for me, but I like a lot of sauce. If you like less sauce, more pasta, go for three.


This is what you need for 10+ servings:

  • 4 lbs. tomatoes
    OR 2 large cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • S&P, spices
  • 2-3 large zucchinis


  • 3 lbs. 93% ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, sliced in rings
