shrimp tjap tjoi with bami, beansprouts

2020-10-03

Now that I am starting to shop at Peppers again, I can buy beansprouts again.
Walmart doesn't seem to carry them, at least, I've never seen them there.

The Birdseye Teriyaki stir-fry mix that Walmart sell is also something I'll keep away from in the future. This used to be a very nice mix, at least 3/4 vegetables, now it's 90+ % noodles with hardly any vegetables. I had to add other vegetables to make it reasonably balanced.

Bami noodles supposedly are made with wheat flour, not rice flour, in other words, they're just another shape of pasta that is cooked and then refried.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 4+ servings:

  • up to 1 lb. bami noodles
  • 1 lb. beansprouts
  • mixed vegetables of your choice
