spinach with onions


I don't usually add onions when I cook spinach, but it is possible to do so, of course. The onions will increase bulk, so you don't need as much spinach. If you cook the onions long enough to lose the sharp flavor, this is a nice variation.


This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • 1/2 lb. spinach leaves
  • 1 large onion
  • S&P
