cornbread turkey stuffing with celery

2014-11-27

Turkey stuffing is nothing more than bread that has been cut into small pieces and dried into croutons, with some herbs and vegetables added.

Stuffing can also be made with cornbread, which is made with corn flour instead of wheat. Corn bread tends to crumble more than regular bread. If you add too liquid, you'll get a wet ball without any structure.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 4-6 servings:

  • 2 cups cornbread croutons,
    diced, toasted
  • 2 cups celery, chopped, cooked
  • up to 1 cup chicken/turkey stock
  • celery salt, spices of choice
