This is the start of all my cooked celeriac recipes so far and it mirrors the celeriac soup recipe, at your option with or without the celery and/or potatoes.

There are other ways of course: you can also roast, bake, sauté and stuff it with or in other things, but I  haven't had the opportunity to try those yet.


This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • 1 lb. cleaned celeriac root
  • 2 cups stock
  • S&P
  • lime juice

celeriac in béchamel sauce

This is an easy step further than the basic recipe above. It does make it a lot more pleasant.


This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 1 lb. celeriac, cooked
