I sometimes cook salmon fillets together with fruits or vegetables. These are 2 examples.

This quick and easy, very simple recipe is similar to the Dill Salmon recipe, but with better-quality wild-caught sockeye salmon. This one was conveniently home-delivered by Schwan’s frozen food truck. They're not very big at 1 lb. each, but a lot nicer than Atlantic salmon.

Because of the fruit/vegetables and the tinfoil hat,


This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • 1 lb. whole salmon fillet
  • 1 lb. of sweet seedless white grapes
  • olive oil
  • S&P, dill

B. Salmon with zucchinis


This was the same cooking method as above. The fillet was 2 lbs. The zucchinis looked and tasted differently and I added some sliced limes when I served.


This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • see above
  • zucchinis instead of grapes
  • 2 limes
