deep-fried lobster tail

2018-02-19

Ever deep-fry a lobster tail? I tried it once, when I had the grease hot for something else already.

These were the little lobster tails of about 4 oz. each. I wouldn't have wasted much if it turned out to be inedible.

This didn't seem to work very well when still frozen. I had to get them out of their shell and cut them in pieces to get them fully cooked on the inside. I ended up with less than half the size I started with, but with a stronger flavor. Not bad after all.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • 2 spiny lobster tails (4-8 oz.)
