cheesy meatballs in soubise sauce


This ground meat mix was originally made for stuffed cucumbers. I always make extra for meatballs in the soup. I pan-fry the meatballs before adding them to the soup, and I also reserve a few for a separate meal.


This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • 1/2 lb. ground meat (beef, pork, or mix)
  • 1 cup onion & bell pepper mix
  • 1 cup grated melting cheese
  • S&P, spices
  • 1 cup soubise sauce
