canned (beef) stew, potatoes


Canning meat at home is easy and it will save you a lot of time later on. All you have to do is pour and heat it up again and you're ready to go. Canning beef is especially useful when you raise and slaughter your own animals.

I have canned turkey together with carrots and potatoes.

All other meats were meat alone, without vegetables. Meat should be packed loosely without adding extra liquid.

This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • 1 qt. canned beef stew
  • ½ qt. canned potatoes


  • Pour, heat, eat.
