oven-baked steak skewers


I find these colorful skewers so nice to look at. This is a pleasant recipe for summer days.
Cook in the oven or BBQ, or even pan-fry if they fit in your frying pan.

The meat is diced here, bigger than the fajitas. We still go for high heat, but not as extreme.  Because the vegetables work as a heat buffer, we can go longer than the fajitas. And in the oven, everything takes more time of course.


This is what you need for 4 servings:
These are things I like. You should choose things you like.

  • 1 lb. good lean steak
  • S&P, spices
  • 3 colored bell peppers
  • ½ onion
  • 4 oz. button mushrooms
  • 20 grapes
  • 1 can sliced pineapple
  • 1 celery leaf
