This attractive and simple motet features expressive choral movement in the chorus over a "walking bass" continuo. Both the original Latin "Ave Maria" text and an English paraphrase of Psalm 67:1,2,7 are provided. The "Ave Maria" text is found in the Gospel for Advent IV (Lectionary B, C).
