|James A. Collignon was born in St. Cloud,
Minn., in 1926 and it wasn't until 1976 that he wrote his first pop song.
Only recently has he stopped writing pop music (no inspiration), but he is
still turning old material into new hymns. Some of the hymns are very fine
poetry, and it is his hope that the tunes will linger and the fragrance of
the verse will too. Help yourself to these. Jesus said: "Having freely
received, freely give."
