Update 2006:

One of the pictures on the old WebSite still show the big wooden walker that is also depicted on the cover page of "Disabled Village Children." I have not seen one of those in the project this past year. It appears that PROJIMO has made a complete transition to using (donated) aluminum or metal walkers.
You will notice that Marielos is depicted in both sets of pictures on the old website. The separation in 2 different workshops is artificial. Indeed, Marielos has been in charge of the woodworking shop since before the move from Ajoya, and does it all.
At this time, she is  also the only person working in that shop. Yet ,the woodworking shop could easily provide employment for several people, and be entirely self-sustainable. As it stands now, there will be no one to take over when she leaves.        (recruitment, capacitation...???)
