rabbit with beer and prunes

This is nearly identical to rabbit with prunes.
This was a purchased rabbit though instead of one that I raised myself. Much smaller, only about 2 lbs. instead of going on 6. But still enough for 4 servings with some moderation.

This is exactly the same recipe I use for Flemish beef stew.
The rabbit gives it its own special taste though.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • 1 cleaned rabbit, 2 lbs.
  • 1 lb. pitted dried prunes
  • 1 bottle Guinness extra stout
  • S&P
