Giuseppe Agostini [b.1930]
studied piano (with Rina Rossi), organ composition and organ (with Fernando Germani), counterpoint, composition and fugue.

As a choir director, he founded "The Polifonici", a chamber ensemble which has recorded rare music by Marazzoli, Mazzocchi and Stefano Landi for RAI (Italian national television). He directed the "Chorus Vallicelliano" of the Oratorio Filippino Rome, for which he was also director of concerts (sermons) and Master of the Chiesa Nuova Chapel.

For years, he conducted the university choir of IUC. He founded the "Chorus Aldo Manuzio" of the Accademia Lepina of Supino. He has also directed the "Chamber Choir of RAI Rome". Since 1968, he has been director of the "Chorus Franco Maria Saraceni University of Rome" with which he has held concerts throughout Europe and North America and South America.

He is a founding member of a committee for the protection of precious pipe organs and has performed original concerts of music by Frescobaldi, Gabrieli, Pasquini, Zipoli on classical Roman Organs. As an expert on organs, he has designed organs in prestigious locations (in Rome: Basilica of Christ the King, Pius X to Balduina, Santa Francesca Romana, Basilica of SS. Cosmas and Damian, the positive organ at the Leoniano College in Prati, completely mechanical), and his favourite project, the wonderful organ of the Conservatory of L’Aquila (Tamburini three-manual organ, with sixty stops, mechanical).
