INGREDIENTS
This is what you need for 1 loaf:
- 1 cup sourdough starter
or try making your own - 430 g. flour
- 390 cc. water
- 2 tsp. salt
various dates
Sourdough is dough that has been naturally fermented and is added to new dough to make it rise as well.
Sourdough starters can be purchased online for tested cultures. It is possible to ferment new dough to make sourdough, but depending on what organisms culture the dough, the flavor might not be as optimal.
Sourdough will work best if it is kneaded into the new dough. Then just wait overnight for the bread to rise.
