INGREDIENTS
This is what you need for 2 servings:
- 1/2 cup rice
- water
- S&P
- curry powder/paste
various dates
Curried rice is a simple recipe with delicious results. I usually prepare it the simplest way by adding curry powder to the rice water, but I also prepare curry sauces separately, with meats or vegetables and serve that over cooked rice.
Instead of curry powder, I sometimes use curry paste, which can come in glass jars or small packages / pouches. Those usually are more spicy than the powders.
