Soft Tacos made simple.

This is an easy and quick recipe for those who want a taste of (New) Mexican food. Instead of shrimp, veal tongue ( = taco de lengua), another meat or seafood can be used.

Marielos made these. I just looked over her shoulder and took the pictures. 

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • 1 lb. cooked salad shrimp, thawed
  • 1 lb. tomatoes, peeled, cored
    OR use canned whole or crushed
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • S&P, your favorite spices
  • cilantro for garnish
