stir-fry steak with potato and mushroom cream sauce

A one-skillet meal that can be ready in about 30 minutes.
The end-result is not very colorful, all creams and browns, but it tastes just fine. Optionally, stir-fry meat separately to get a darker color contrast.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 2 servings:

  • top round / chuck steak for 2, 3/4 - 1 lb.)
  • 1 large potato
  • 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
  • S&P
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1  cup rice
