This is what you need for 2 servings:
- 1 lb. beef heart, sliced, trimmed
- S&P, seasoning of your choice
- 1 large beefsteak tomato
- mayo

I do occasionally buy beef heart. It usually comes pre-sliced.
This is my most common method of preparing beef heart. I pan-fry it rare to medium-rare for me, well-done for Marielos. Beef heart tastes different than any other cut of beef.
