Tomato soup with pasta is a favorite worldwide.
This is widely available as pre-packaged instant soup, but fresh tomatoes taste so much better.


Flavor-wise, it doesn't matter much what type of pasta you add.
Different pastas will create different textures, but as long as it is wheat pasta, with much same flavor.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 4 servings:

  • 3 large beefsteak tomatoes
    OR: 1-2 lbs. roma tomatoes
  • vermicelli / fideo
  • S&P
  • Maggi bouillon

Directions
