- Add heavy cream to a creamed mushroom soup = recommended method.

- Less added liquid will make a thicker soup/sauce.
- Simmering down (aka reducing) a runny soup will thicken it.
Do not boil if cream has been added. The cream will break.
- Once you reach the thickness of canned soup, it can also be used as a sauce.
