A very nice combination, that is definitely worth repeating.

I had never combined the two before in a single soup. Pig’s feet soup and beef shank soup are very different. Here the two were combined and it did take some getting used to. It is darker in color and flavor than pig’s feet alone but the pig’s feet makes the beef soup smoother and richer.

This was a successful experiment, definitely worth repeating.

INGREDIENTS

This is what you need for 8 quarts – 10+ servings:

  • 2 packages pre-cut pig’s feet (4 pc.)
  • 2 packages beef shank (4 pc.)
  • 4 large carrots, peeled, sliced
  • S&P
