My name is Stanescu Dumitru born in
Romania, Caracal
city on September 17, 1959. I have studied trumpet and graduated from "Ciprian
Porumbescu" Conservatory in Bucharest. Driven by love for music
and ambition, I have also studied piano and the art of composing from
early age. Currently, I play trumpet for "Orchestra Simfonia" of "Oltenia"
Philharmonics and for opera "Elena Teodorini" in Craiova city. I have
also composed a variety of musical pieces for stage, ballet, theatre,
Christmas, and
religious.
My Ave Maria composition, was never published before Mr.
Alfred Grech from Malta added it to the video slideshow on
Youtube.
At first, I did not have a name for the composition, but as the song
progressed I felt it in my heart the name Ave Maria sounded just right.
It was composed in january 2008.
