Came to America with parents 1838; lived in Illinois for several years, then locating in St Louis, was connected with private bank of Clark Bros & Co 1856 64; cashier National Loan Bank 1864 66; Continental National Bank 1866 79; cashier Union Savings Bank 1879 88; in insurance business until 1910; when retired. Consular agent for France in St Louis, 1873-90. Democrat. Catholic. For many years concert violinist and composer. Member Franco-American Society. Residence 2736 Geyer Ave |
