Paul Hastings Allen (28 November 1883–28 September 1952)[1] was an American composer. Born in Massachusetts, he composed a symphony, titled the Pilgrim, which won the Paderewski Prize in 1908. His opera after The Last of the Mohicans was produced abroad. He also composed chamber music. He was a member of The Harvard Musical Association from 1912 until 1952. |
